🗓️ Day-by-Day Itinerary
1Sembalun Village -> Sembalun Crater Rim Campsite (2,639m)
Start from Sembalun registration office, trekking through grassy savannahs and up to Plawangan Sembalun Crater Rim. Enjoy sunset over the caldera.
2Summit 3,726m -> Segara Anak Lake -> Hot Springs Campsite (2,000m)
Midnight summit climb up the volcanic ridge to 3,726m for sunrise. Return to rim for breakfast, then descend into the caldera down to Segara Anak Lake. Spend the afternoon soaking in natural thermal hot springs beside the lake under towering crater cliffs.
3Segara Anak Lake -> Torean Valley & Penimbungan Waterfall -> Senaru
Trek along the scenic Torean valley trail flanked by towering vertical cliffs and dramatic rock formations. Marvel at the 100-meter Penimbungan Waterfall plunging into a misty gorge. Arrive at Torean basecamp in the afternoon for transfer back to Senaru and your next destination.
